Using an unlicensed general contractor (GC) and many types of speciality contractors puts you at extreme risk! Consider the following:

• Using an unlicensed GC is actually illegal in the state of Georgia. You may be fined and prosecuted under criminal charges.
• You can jeopardize your insurance or the re-sale value of your building or home, since the blueprints of your property cannot include work performed by an unlicensed GC.
